We have joined together with the leading car hire company Europcar to offer you the freedom and independence of car hire on holiday at advantageous rates. The prices quoted below are in sterling, per day and are per vehicle, irrespective of the number of occupants.

• Personal Accident Insurance. You can take this out for an extra fee, but it is included in the insurance cover that we recommend (see page 262)

• Late collection charge hours of location are on request and paid locally

• Insurance for the car’s contents

• Insurance for damage to tyres, windscreen or underside of the car

• Damage or theft excess charge. This varies from country to country - an optional excess protection inurance (SCDW) will be offered to you when collecting your car.

• Extra driver charges depend on where and when you rent the car - you must make any extra driver arrangements when you pick up the car

• Delivery charges to your accommodation

We do not include infants in the calculations below. Therefore, you may wish to book a larger car if taking an infant with you. If you anticipate taking more luggage than is likely to fit in the boot then please ensure you upgrade to a car with a larger boot as roof racks are usually not available. Charges for infant/child seats are payable locally but these must be requested at the time of booking.

Where a car is included in the price of a holiday, a basic car will be supplied

if the booking is for 2-3 people. A second group car will be supplied for

4 passengers travelling together and a third group car for 5 passengers.

Two basic group cars or a minibus will be supplied for parties of 6 and over, subject to availability. Where there is only 1 person travelling a supplement of half the amount of the car hire shown in the price panel will be applied. If you wish to upgrade to a larger car, the supplement will be the difference between the 2 cars as displayed in the price panel below. Please consider how much luggage you require when selecting your car size.

All cars will be booked for collection at the airport on your day of arrival unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Should you wish the car to be delivered to your accommodation a delivery charge will apply.
