Resort Information
A bustling resort centred around a village of narrow, winding streets, alleys and traditional stonewalled cottages, Limone rests against the stunning backdrop of Lake Garda's mountainous, north-western shore. The village itself is set in a sunny, secluded cove amidst warm olive groves and fragrant oleander. From its many brightly coloured pavement cafés and lively piazzas, there are unparalled views across the lake to the imposing peaks of Monte Baldo.

Getting About
The lake is definitely the best way to get about here. Lake ferry and fast hydrofoil services operate throughout the day to other lakeside towns. There is also a bus service to Milan, Desenzano, and Brescia.
Strollers
The pleasant stroll along Limone's lakeside promenade takes you past many tempting cafés. Take the ferry or hydrofoil to the neighbouring resorts of Gardone, Riva and Malcesine, for a wider choice of routes.
Ramblers
A programme of free walks is organised, June to Sept, by the local Limone Trust. Trails wind up into the hilly countryside and provide a challenge to hikers. The views, however, are well worth the effort.
