Sample the delights of the awe-inspiring Dolomite Mountains and Italy's finest classical cities. This stimulating seven night tour starts on a Saturday and can be taken on its own or as a first or second twin centre holiday, offering great value for money.
You will stay in Torri del Benaco located a few kilometres from the well known resort of Garda. Torri del Benaco is in the perfect location to access the lake towns of Lake Garda for your free time or a night at the Verona opera.
Please note that the trips are daily local coach excursions and it is likely that guests from other companies will also participate in them.
Day 1 (Saturday): UK to Verona
Arrival at Verona airport and transfer to your hotel in Torri del Benaco.
Day 2 (Sunday): Local Tour
A guided walkabout in Torri del Benaco.
Day 3 (Monday): Dolomites Tour
A full day’s guided excursion to some of the most impressive mountains in the world with their picturesque villages and ancient glaciers.
Day 4 (Tuesday): Florence
A full day in Florence with the magnificent pink, white and green marble cathedral, the ‘Duomo’, the historic Uffizi Gallery and the ancient ‘Ponte Vecchio’ bridge.
Day 5 (Wednesday): Free day
Free time to explore or relax in your hotel’s gardens and swimming pool.
Day 6 (Thursday): Verona
A sightseeing tour through one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. A walk through the historic centre to the Roman Arena and Juliet’s Balcony. Free time for shopping.
Day 7 (Friday): Venice
Guided excursion by coach and private boat to St. Mark’s and the historic centre. Optional gondola ride or tour of the lagoon (local charge).
Day 8 (Saturday): Verona to UK
Transfer to Verona airport for your flight home or to your chosen second centre.
