Resort Information
Waidring, a typically Tirolean village, is a wonderful place to enjoy the Austrian summer. Small and self contained but with an ideal location, only a short bus journey from lively St. Johann.

• Waidring is well known as one of the Tirol region's best kept secrets, in a picturesque setting full of charm and tradition • Take the cable car from Waidring up to the Steinplatte and enjoy a stroll on this high alpine plateau for some of the best views in the area

Getting About
There is a bus service to nearbly Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll and a summer lift into the mountains.
Strollers
There are several relaxing walks through and around the village. Attractive paths run along the river and through meadows leading to the nearby villages of Kirchdorf and Oberndorf and Lofer.
Ramblers
The village has a summer lift and from the top you'll find some great walking routes and wonderful views!
Hikers
From Waiding if you head up into the higher mountains you'll find a good choice of challenging walks.
