Getting About
There is a regular bus service to St.Gilgen (30 mins), a ferry to St. Gilgen (45 mins) and a bus to Bad Ischl (45 mins). The Schafberg mountain cog railway gives visitors an excellent view of the surrounding area.
Strollers
St. Wolfgang offers 130km of marked paths with varying difficulty and length. Begin with a leisurely stroll along the side of the lake and take in the charm, elegance and atmosphere of this pretty town.
Ramblers
Take a boat from one of the ferry points, or take the Schafberg mountain railway for some excellent trails. St. Wolfgang is linked to the other areas of the Salzkammergut by bus or walking trail providing a large variety of walking.
