Resort Information
In the province of Salzburgerland, the beautiful village of Maria Alm lies at the foot of the dramatic Hochkönig mountains. The area is a delight for walkers and our 2-3 day Via Alpina self guided walking tour option is a superb way to enjoy this wonderful area. The village has an impressive setting with imposing views to the north over the limestone peaks of the "Steinernes Meer" and the undulating "Grasberge" mountains to the south. The friendly locals are proud of their local tradition and there are many festivals and folk customs that take place throughout the summer with a special programme of Harvest Festival events in September.
