Resort Information
With its many secluded coves and shingle beaches, the beautiful Salzkammergut village of Fuschl on the lake shore, is an unspoilt paradise just waiting to be discovered. The village lies in the heart of a nature reserve and is a haven of calm and tranquility, yet there is plenty to keep you amused. Enjoy a swim in the sparkling, clear water of Lake Fuschl, sit on the lakeside promenade and watch the world go by, or get active and row across the lake or cycle along the cool, pine-clad shore. At night the friendly bars and cafés offer a warm welcome, as the strains of traditional zither music float across the waters.
Early booking offer To celebrate the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, all bookings to Fuschl made before 31/12 are entitled to a FREE return trip to Salzburg including: · FREE walking tour of Salzburg finishing at Mozart's birth house on the Getreidegasse · FREE concert in Salzburg including works from Mozart, Strauss, Haydn and Beethoven · FREE packet of "Mozartkugeln" chocolates

Getting About
There is a bus service to Salzburg, Bad Ischl and St. Gilgen. Boat trips can be taken at the neighbouring resorts of St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen.
Strollers
There are 150 kilometres of marked walks in and around Fuschl. The walk tracing the route of the Ellmau stein is recommended. It passes an old mill where you can watch demonstrations of traditional flour-grinding.
Ramblers
Another route takes you along the lake to Schloss Fuschl. A very popular walk is over the 'Mozartblick' (Mozart's view) to St. Gilgen on Lake Wolfgangsee.
