Resort Information

Kitzbühel lies in the heart of the spectacular Kitzbüheler Alps. Dating back over 700 years the historic Tirolean town has cobbled streets and a colourful town centre. The town offers a wealth of modern shops, quaint cafés and lively bars. There's plenty to amuse you around the area, including the nearby Schwarzsee, a strikingly beautiful mountain lake or the fabulous Alpine flower garden, at the top of the Kitzbühelerhorn and NEW for 2009, our Thomson walking guide will help you make the most of the 180km of walking paths. With two 18 hole golf courses, rugged mountain bike trails as well as excellent sightseeing excursions, it's no wonder guests return year after year.
